NOTE: This is a summary of some logos I have observed, the image is not my work

The New York Times Logo: https://www.nytimes.com/ca/

This is both a virtual and hands-on type of newspaper that speaks about many topics based in New York that informs every adult with the news and stories. The colours used in this logo is a solid black, with a font called "Chomsky", a typeface that gives it a historic and old concept/theme since this is a tabloid made years ago in 1851; they use this font to inform the audience that this was founded years ago before most people were born.

Wicked The Musical: https://wickedthemusical.com/

This logo is from a musical based on the 1995 Gregory Maguire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, and is also based on the characters and setting of the classic 1900 novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film The Wizard of Oz. Personally, I think this is a musical suited for anyone since it is based on a classic novel everyone knows about and it has been very famous as well. The colours used in this logo is a tinted silver to make the font pop out a little bit, and the font is a thick serif font, which I believe is to also tell the audience that it is a classic story in the 1900s.

The only similarities I see with these two logos are the font themes and the concept because they are both using unique typefaces to define how old this started and how old this play they are doing is. This is too let the audience know that they were in business 171 years ago, and the musical is based on stories 122 years ago. In other words, it is defining the age of the production. The New York Times font is the most different because it is not a basic font, it is a historic-theme type of font and it is also a kind of font that can be readable and non-readable at the same time depending on the age.
